Owners friends James Lloyd-Roberts, a firefighter and photographer, and Amy Griffith, friends an artist, have spent almost four years on their vision. They live in the house but rent it exclusively to guests (while staying in a garden caravan) and have hosted food writer and TV presenter Gizzi Erskine, singer Iggy Azalea and model Felicity Hayward.
Each room has its own personality we stayed in the Mansfield Suite (named after actress friends Jayne Mansfield). Adorned with more fairy lights, antique clocks, trinkets and heart-shaped pillows, it s meant to embody femininity and Hollywood glamour.
There are two living areas: the Green Parlour friends and the Universe Lounge. The former is designed in a modern heritage style with fluffy rugs, Louis XIII furnishings, modern photography and an antique mirror decorated with stuffed birds.
But we liked the latter, a bachelor pad with a pool table, Agent Provocateur framed images and a hallway with Hawaiian-themed and gold glitter wallpaper. The garden is painted pink and gold and a unicorn has been added for good measure (Picture: supplied)
The garden has an outdoor fireplace, hot tub, heart-shaped stepping stones and pink flamingos. Griffith can also arrange bespoke friends treats, including friends a Cordon Bleu-trained in-house chef (from 50 each for three courses), firemen models to serve dinner or drinks (from 300), an in-house beauty team (from 20) and a fireman bootcamp friends (from 150).
