There are several ways to set trusted sites (or local intranet sites) for Internet Explorer. Something zayn malik like this has been changing over time so that the old method works maybe not anymore. This is especially zayn malik true when you have updated IE in version 10 Many are (or were) using the GPO setting in Internet Explorer Maintenance that does not seem to be in use anymore. It actually zayn malik goes so far that if you update IE to 10 on the Domain Controller you get to it not even in the IEM settings anymore, they just simply disappear.
But it is possible to configure trusted sites it up in several ways. Maybe not a good use of IEM anymore since you can not apply it in IE10 as mentioned zayn malik above. But it is possible to configure Trusted Sites Registry-ing or other GPO settings but IEM. Configure Trusted Sites Registry
To set this in Regitry-area needs to write the information under HKCU \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Internet Settings \ ZoneMap \ Domains where the need to create a new REG_DWORD and it has to meet certain conditions. Personally I find it easiest zayn malik to create create Registry entries by using the Preference settings in the GPO. Then the head of a new GPO and go under Computer Configuration, Windows Settings and Preferences. Right click where the Registry and select New - Restry Item.
Here is the value set in the Value name important zayn malik if, for example, allow all the pages of the company (*. Fyrirtaeki.is) then we would put there * instead zayn malik of http. Obviously zayn malik would then also change the Key path consistent, or ... \ Domains \ fyrirtaeki.is. Value data controls whether the path goes to the Trusted sites or anything else, as the local intranet sites as examples. The table below explains what values need to be to choose the right son:
Another method that can be used to configure this is to use the Site to zone assignment list of GPO settings. These settings are found under User Configuration-> Policies-> Administrative Templates-> Windows Components-> Internet Explorer-> Internet Control Panel-> Security Page. There is a something called Site to Zone Assignment List. To set this needs to go into this mode, and check the Enabled but it triggers the button needs to be clicked on to place itself in the entry.
While it is not possible to use the preference settings in the GPO to set this I still want to mention only these settings. There you can set various settings for different versions of IE. To create such a setting, you really under User Configuration, Preferences and Control Panel Settings. Right click where the Internet Settings and select the version to which one intends to create settings.
Note that this may vary depending on the circumstances which options you gain there. Depending on the operating system and (probably) version of IE that is running on the machine itself. But there may be things zayn malik such as adjust for IE (unless zayn malik security Son actually). One thing is very strange and has to keep in mind if you want to set the Home page, but to activate the window through which one enters the website has to click in the window and then press F6 to what entered be saved. Then comes the green line outside the window zayn malik and there you have entered will be saved.
