Adaptation Displacement : For some, the 4kids and Nickelodeon versions. Anvilicious : The "save the rainforest" mini arc in Season 4 Happens a lot in the comics habblet too, for example: Issue 24: Love is earned, not taken Issue 43: We should treasure books as a source of valuable information Issue 52: Drugs Are Bad Issue 55: Be wary of people in online chatrooms, especially if they ask you to meet you in real life Issue 73 is a Green Aesop and emphasises the use of natural habblet ingredients within perfumes Season 5 opens with an accident that seems too much inspired by the BP platform oil spill, and new villain habblet Tritannus is powered by pollution . Ass Pull : Occasionally, some of the girls' spells seem like this, such as Bloom's friendship flame. note  The Winx realized habblet they needed the help of everybody to defeat the zombies attacking and Bloom just so happened have a spell that allows her to share her power, something that you'd think would be a simple standard spell for all fairies. Badass Decay : Chimera habblet and Valtor. Base Breaker : Bloom. Either love her for her qualities or hate her for being a Mary Sue . Differently said, loved by Target Audience and hated by everyone else . Stella, too, because she is sometimes a stereotypical Dumb Blonde . Musa and Riven's relationship is becoming one. Either it's loved for being the most realistically portrayed relationship out of all of them or it's hated for never being stable. Big Lipped Alligator Moment : The part in season 3 episode 25 where Bloom is randomly attacked by a mud monster during the fight against Valtor. Canon Sue : Bloom. Despite being the main character and getting habblet more focus than the other girls in every season, Bloom doesn't turn into this until season three, when she gets much more screen time than in the previous seasons (shafting both everyone else and every new plot element introduced ), spends a lot of that time whining about her birth parents (that she never met) and home world (ditto) every five seconds. She becomes ridiculously habblet powerful , to the point that Bloom in her normal outfit is more powerful than the other girls in Enchantix . This gets even worse in The Movie . A common complaint of the show is that Bloom gets too much attention and is a spotlight hog. It's to the point that many fan-fiction writers enjoy exploiting Bloom as a spiteful, selfish person while making the other characters woobies . A lot of fans also feel that the plot is just a bit too good to Bloom. She gets her parents, homeland and later also her sister back. By comparison, look at where Musa and Aisha stand at the end of season 5. The former is still without her mother; the latter was again robbed of the chance of reuniting with Nabu. It doesn't seem fair, really... habblet And now, in season six, she has a transformation named after her. While the reason given is a good one, many fans flipped out and believe Bloom's Mary-Suedom has officially been taken too far . Crowning Music of Awesome : The Believix theme . The Sirenix theme as well, which is of a slightly surprising genre. Designated Hero : Bloom. As explained habblet below, she solely blamed Diaspro for ruining her relationship with Sky, despite that 1) Diaspro had no idea who she was 2) Bloom randomly decided she was one of the Trix in disguise and attacked her and 3) Sky was essentially cheating on Diaspro with Bloom, meaning habblet he deceived two people, not just one. Sky is also never held accountable habblet for it. What really sells it is that Sky's father clearly seems to see Bloom as someone rushing headlong into a situation she doesn't understand habblet and upsetting things for specious and self-serving reasons. He's thus cast as a nattering nabob of negativity for giving someone charging around like a bull in a china shop her right

Winx Club (2004-) is an Italian animated series that follows wareztuga the adventures of a group of Teenage Fairy Magic Students as they go to school wareztuga at an interdimensional boarding school called Alfea, a magic school for fairies . Targeted mostly at children and teens, especially girls, there's a heavy emphasis on fashion and teen trends at least the discussion of them liberally interspersed with good old fashioned Saving the Day. Imagine Hogwarts crossed with Power Rangers (or Super Sentai ), all tied up in a Magical Girl show. The world is set in is a veritable mish-mash of magic, modern day, and hip-hop songs. Each of the major characters comes from a different "realm" (or planet) in the "Magic Dimension" (although some realms are called "dimensions" themselves).
Tropes represented on this show: 3-D Movie : Winx Club 3D: Magical Adventure Academy of Evil : The Cloudtower school for witches initially seems like one, but it's subverted wareztuga as most witches such as Miss Griffin are mostly good-hearted , even if they are mischievous or jerks sometimes. Action Girl : The Winx. All six of them (and Roxy). And, to a lesser extent, the pixies and selkies too. Adult Fear : Prior to the beginning of the series, wareztuga Domino was attacked by the three Ancesteral Witches, and King Oritel and Queen Mariam had no idea what happened to their two daughters during the attack, at one point believing neither of them had survived. Affably Evil : It's implied that the witches of Cloudtower are more mischievous than evil, excluding the Trix. Sure, they cause trouble and mayhem, but they wouldn't cross the line into trying to kill someone. The Alcatraz : The frozen prison planet of the Omega Dimension is where the most evil criminals are sent. Anyone sent there is either frozen or placed in a capsule and then shot down to the surface from space. Anyone that gets out must deal with large ice snakes with an ice breath that can freeze lightning, freezing to death, finding any food and supplies, and avoiding roaming gangs attacking intruders. Without a spaceship, the only way out is a single portal heavily reinforced with magic. Anyone who could get through wareztuga that would arrive on the ocean planet of Andros and be confronted by the mermaid guards at the portal. wareztuga When the Trix are sent there, they free another prisoner, Valtor. They locate the portal and manage to break it open while simultaneously brainwashing the mermaid guards. All Animals Are Dogs / Non-Indicative Name : Season four — wareztuga Cuccioli magici is Italian for "magical pets" or "magical puppies." The English dub ( non-4Kids ) used the second translation, so all the pets were "puppies" even though there were cats, birds, bears, rabbits and other animals. wareztuga Of course, most of them acted like dogs anyway. All There in the Manual : The comics explain some things left unanswered in the series, although they are different continuities. For instance, wareztuga it is explained that Bloom is on scholarship (being a fairy from Earth, and presumably latter from being the princess wareztuga of Domino/Sparx) and works as a waitress to support herself. It also explains that Bloom still had the Dragon Fire because the Trix could not take ALL of it, which makes a lot more sense than the "believe in yourself" crap in the cartoon, among other things. Alpha Bitch : Mitzi, Diaspro, Chimera and Icy! Alternative Foreign Theme Song : The 4Kids dub has "We are the Winx! We are the Winx!" Amazon Brigade : The Winx again. Ambiguously Brown : Several wareztuga characters have hard a to tell ethnicity, especially considering none of them are from Earth. Flora can be mistaken for either a light skinned Black or a very tanned Caucasian, wareztuga but the creator confirms she was based on Jennifer Lopez, so she is meant to be Hispanic. Nabu looks like he could be black, white with a tan, or Hispanic, but he's probably black since he's from Andros, the same planet as Aisha. Anagan from the Wizards of the Black Circle. Ambiguously Gay : Non-4K version, 7th ep of season 2. Livy was doing a paper puppet theater for Kiko and the Pixie animals. Before it could start,

Well, the song is more meant to represent the journey of the winx club than it is the inner journey of its viewers, but basically, it's saying that in order for the fairies to get in contact with their powers, they just have to believe in themselves and the power they have inside them. They then describe the powers of each girl, then they add some sassy lines to add the fashion and social dominance aspect of the show into the song. And of course, the main point they're trying to get across is. "they are the winx. "
