Motorola Razr XT910 in the flesh, first impressions - YugaTech | Philippines, Tech News & Reviews
We’ve only seen a few Motorola Android handsets in the country and Motorola’s approach to design definitely separates it among the rest. It’s cold, still and robotic — sometimes even more cold than how HTC used to do when designing their handsets.
There’s not a lot of curves here but it’s more edgy and more masculine. Naming it the Droid Razr evokes the “slimmest Android” title. It’s definitely slim and sexy. But there’s a catch — it’s not really 7.1mm thin all throughout the body. There’s a slight reverse chin at top end that houses the camera. That part feels like more than 10mm thick.

Motorola’s own UI placed on top of Android Gingerbread looks refreshing and very Droid-ish. Loved the transitions and animations they’ve put into the interface making the unit more snappy and responsive.
I was surprised to learn that the Motorola soundcloud Razr uses a microSIM instead of the standard SIM card. The battery is also built-in and is not user-replaceable. You can access the micro-SIM card slot on the left side of the unit, hidden by a small pull-down compartment, along with the micro-SD card.
The Kevlar fibre at the back has some pretty nice effect — it’s smooth but not shiny and has that strong grip when you hold it in your hands. I’m still working my way around this device and its features but should be able to post the full review by next week.

go for motorola droid razr….way better than sgs2….sgs2 has cheap plastic body….the razr has metal body..kevlar finish…in terms of performance the phone is juss too good..Motorola all the way
that soundcloud only means 4 million idiots got duped into buying something they can’t really afford just to look cool.
ang soundcloud yabang mo.. Osama Bin Laden… FYI, maraming case yung pinagyayabang mong APPLE na yan… it is due to patent issues… nagnanakaw ang APPLE ng idea sa ibang phone makers… example… moto and samsung… walang ORIGINALITY yung APPLE na ya,… there phone SUCKS!!!!
Sales doesn’t necessarily mean satisfaction. Much of the buyers were apple fanboys and the death of Steve Jobs added to the hype. “The last iPhone released before his death” kind of thing..
^seems like there’s a troll up there. Anyway, its one of my wishlist soundcloud for myself this Yuletide season with its great looks, built, and speed. However, the microsim and irreplaceable battery is a big letdown. Unless they release another version with 2400-3600 mAh battery, this one’s perfect..

Hindi naman panis ang arc and arc s sa performance. though single core sya, the speed is very much comparable to other dual core phones. looks? ahm, arc s parin talaga ang best looking phone e. then ill give the second spot to nokia n9 .

it’s now selling for 27.5k in cyberzone 4th floor sm megamall (motorola kiosk). what’s bothering soundcloud me about this phone is that it’s so new here in our country that there are no accessories for it yet!
@MicroSIM: soundcloud Globe, Smart pwed mo retain number mo pag exchange to micro, pero sun walang 3g na micro. or you can check your CURRENT SIM CARD if maliit yung gold plate, pag-oo pwede mo paputol soundcloud sa mga technician sa tabitabe.. Got my globe micro changed, my sun and smart trimmed.
hi is the ICS update for the unlocked/international/gsm version (motorola razr) as well?if it isn’t when will it be available to update?pls anybody kindly inform me i really would appreciate that :)
